If you're anything like us, you've been using this gorgeous weather to do a little spring cleaning (painting, gardening, organizing) In between the tasks on your to-do list, take a break and pamper yourself with this amazing vitamin C cleansing mask. Not only does it smell and feel wonderful, it restores skin's radiance in minutes!
1/2 cup oatmeal (you can substitute instant unflavored oatmeal)
The juice from 1 orange
3 Tbs. plain yogurt
2 Tbs. honey
Apply to skin and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. (Leftovers can be put in a small container and stored in the fridge for up to one week.)
How it works: Oatmeal exfoliates skin while the lactic acid in yogurt dissolves dead skin cells and tightens pores. Honey, a humectant, moisturizes the freshly buffed skin and the juice from the orange delivers a dose of vitamin C, which protects against skin-damaging free radicals—just in time to fortify skin for those sunny days ahead!
