When Hollie Breaux Mallet sat down to watch the video recorded by her home security camera, she never expected to see this bizarre sight.
The footage shows a mysterious young boy running into her garage with one specific, never-before-seen purpose--to sneak her dog a quick hug! Once the hug is finished, the young boy bolts out of there as fast as he can, clearly afraid of being caught.

While the video is hilarious on its own, the story doesn't stop there: after seeing the clip, Hollie took to Facebook to attempt to identify the boy so she could invite him back to play with her adorable dog, Dutchess, but next time in a less secretive capacity.
The video has been seen over 930,000 times, so someone was bound to recognize the boy. Before long, the boy's mom, Ginger Clement Breaux, ended up finding it, and commented on the post, "Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn't be on someone's property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much." Their family pet, Bella, died only last year, so it's heartwarming for her to see that Josh has a canine friend to play with again.

According to Hollie, who happens to share a last name with Ginger, Josh and Dutchess have become fast friends since the video, and they continue to have playdates together. And Ginger says that since the story broke, her son has been getting all sorts of new hilarious nicknames, including "drive by snuggles," "mystery hugger," "hug and kisses thief," and "hug stealer." Who would have thought that a security camera feed would have led to such a happy (and hilarious) ending?
