We hear you, Scarlett Johansson! That's what working moms from all over are saying after the actress admitted something so personal about the reality of maintaining parenthood and a job.
The 32-year-old began opening up about what an "incredible challenge" it was for her to continue her career while simultaneously caring for her 2-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy. And let's just say, she got really candid.
“I think you always feel a little bit of guilt," she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "If you’re at work, you feel like you’re missing out on those special moments with your kid. If you’re with your kid, you feel like you’re not giving enough to your job. It’s a balance."
Johansson admitted that she didn't know any more about parenting than any other mom out there. But she said being able to have both a career and a child has been an "incredible gift" in her own life, despite the challenges.
She added, "I have a lot of huge admiration for working moms. I’m barely, barely holding it together."
As if the actress's honesty about her struggles weren't enough to make women feel solidarity with her, she also opened up more about her own mother and the special relationship she's shared with her mom over the years.
"[She’s] been incredibly inspiring for me in many, many ways, but certainly as a young girl," Johansson said.
