Ordinary beverages are elevated to exotic sips when topped with an easy-to-make paper parasol straw.
*What you’ll need: *
1 small soup can
Scissors (Optional: Pinking shears or fancy scalloped-edge craft scissors)
Set the soup can on a map, then trace around the bottom to create a circle. Cut out the circle, mark a 1/8"-wide pie-shaped section on it and cut it out. (Optional: Use scalloped scissors or pinking shears and crease the paper to emphasize the fun edge.) Bring the edges of the pie shape together to form a cone. Slightly overlap the edges and glue. With the tip of the scissors, make a slit in the center of the map umbrella, then slide it onto the straw.
