If you thought the new audio transcripts of Princess Diana explaining how she caught Prince Charles cheating were shocking, then we hope you're sitting down for the other transcripts. As previously reported, the late “People’s Princess" secretly recorded a series of tapes for journalist Andrew Morton 25 years ago. And the latest one to see the light of day involves the former couple's son, Prince Harry.
In the explosive interview, Princess Diana claims that the birth of their second son in 1984 was the beginning of a downward spiral.

"Charles and I were very, very close to each other the six weeks before Harry was born, the closest we've ever, ever been and ever will be," she said. "Then, suddenly, as Harry was born, it just went bang, our marriage. The whole thing went down the drain."
Princess Diana said she knew the sex of her second child before he was born, but she didn't tell Prince Charles because he had "always" hoped for a daughter. She had kept the secret from her then-husband until the delivery, but nothing could've prepared her for what reportedly happened next.
Princess Diana alleged that her husband's initial reaction to seeing Prince Harry was, "Oh God, it's a boy," followed by, "and he's even got red hair."
Though Princess Diana said that her husband did enjoy the nursery life, she explained that Prince Harry's birth still marked a turning point in her marriage, and that after Harry's birth, "something inside me closed off."

Wow! It's no surprise that she would react that way. But it's also no surprise that it would lead to her being closer to her sons than she was already—if that was even possible.
Princess Diana was famously protective of both her boys throughout the entirety of her too-short life.
It wasn't unusual for her to be heard saying things like, "I will fight for my children on any level so they can reach their potential as human beings, and in their public duties."
And based on her husband's alleged reaction, it should come as no surprise that Princess Diana was willing to go to the ends of the earth for her two boys—perhaps even more so than before.
