How do you celebrate your ALMOST third birthday? Well, if you're Prince George, the second-to-youngest member of the royal family, you accompany your parents on your first ever official engagement. Prince William and Kate Middleton took their little princeling--who turns 3 on July 22--to the royal air base in Gloucestershire for the Royal International Air Tattoo, an airshow held every year. The Duchess is the patron of the Air Cadet Organization, which was taking part of the show.

Kate and William probably thought he'd have a blast. But George is still a toddler, which means all bets are off. As you'll see when you go through the pics, there was a good reason for his many changeable moods. At least his parents kept their cool--and looked glamorous throughout the event.
