We can't believe it's almost here already, but Pippa Middleton is about to tie the knot this weekend with the love of her life, James Matthews. While everyone will be keeping their eyes peeled for the beautiful bride (and whatever gorgeous wedding dress she decides to wear), Pippa's big sis Kate Middleton will also be paying close attention to some of the youngest wedding guests—her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
During the Buckingham Palace garden party earlier this week, attendee Andrew Bates revealed that Kate Middleton was feeling a little concerned about how her bundles of joy would respond to her sister's big day of celebration and love.
“She said that they were all really looking forward to her sister’s wedding at the weekend, but she was a bit worried about how her children might behave,” Bates said.
He added, “She said she was hopeful that they would be good, but you never know at that age.”
Of course, we think Prince George and Princess Charlotte are just as sweet and adorable as can be, but we have to admit that their loving mom has a point. No matter how cute (or how famous!) your kid is, it's always hard to tell how they'll behave in public when they're so young. Certainly, Kate Middleton's kids must have their fair share of normal kid moments—bursting out into tears, making silly faces at inappropriate times, maybe even spitting up.
It's always hard to tell how kids will respond to big events like weddings, so we totally understand why Kate Middleton might be concerned about how her own kids will react. However, we also know what a wonderful mom Kate is, and we're confident she'll know exactly what to do if or when her kids act up.
Meanwhile, Pippa is preparing to wed her soulmate in a private church ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield on Saturday morning. We can't wait!
