Keeping all of your chargers together in one place is convenient, except that often means overloaded surge protectors that collect dust and make your house look cluttered. But using a regular shoebox, you can make a DIY charging station that organizes cords and hides them under a pretty cover. In fact, it's so stylish, you can even keep it on your desk!
After wrapping the lid and base of the box (separately) in decorative paper, use a box cutter to poke small holes (big enough for a charger cord to fit through) along one side of the box and a larger hole in one end. Place a surge protector inside and pull its cord through the bigger hole and then, plug in chargers and thread their cables through the small holes. Label each charger on the outside of the shoebox, cover with the lid, and voila! a gorgeous tech-organizer!
