Piggly Wiggly, the supermarket chain, has about 600 stores in 17 states, according to its web site. But we'd guess it didn't have that many employees like Miguel Guzman, Jr. Guzman works at the grocery store in Beloit, WI, and has caught the attention of his co-workers for the most surprising reason.

When Guzman sees this particular customer, a regular, walk into the supermarket, he drops what he's doing. First, he reads the flyer to her and makes out her grocery list. He walks around the store with her so she's sure to get the groceries she needs. Then he personally escorts her to the checkout line, places her items on the belt to be scanned, and bags each item. If it's a nice day, he loads the bags into her personal shopping cart and she goes home. If it's bad weather, he drives her home himself.

As one of his co-workers noted in this post on Love What Matters, "This takes a good amount of time out of his busy work day but he does it every time with a smile." Why does he take such care with this one particular customer? Because she's blind--and he's a great guy.
Bravo, Mr. Guzman for going above and beyond!
