After an election video featuring the cast members went viral last year, fans clamored for a revival, and in January of this year, NBC confirmed the news.

All the main cast members will be reprising their roles and the original show’s creators and director/producer will also return, so there should be continuity of the plot from the original series.

Variety has confirmed that NBC is currently in preliminary talks about resurrecting the show, perhaps as a direct result of the immensely successful campaign video. The winner of 16 Primetime Emmys, Will & Grace ran from 1998 to 2006.

The show focused on two friends and roommates, Will, a gay man, played by Eric McCormack, and Grace, played by Debra Messing. Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes also starred as friends of the title characters.
