"Keep it simple" is our motto when it comes to getting a delicious dinner on the table on a busy weeknight. So to perk up the pork chops in this 5-ingredient recipe, we added a robust, flavorful sauce made from simmering sautéed mushrooms and onions in a little condensed soup.
6 center-cut bone-in pork chops
2 Tbs. vegetable oil,_ divided_
8 oz. sliced white mushrooms
*1 small red onion, *chopped
½ cup condensed cream of mushroom soup
Season pork chops with salt and black pepper. In skillet over medium-high heat, cook pork chops in batches in 1 Tbs. oil 8 min. or until done, turning once. Set aside pork chops, reserving pan juices.
In same skillet, cook mushrooms and onions in 1 Tbs. oil 5 min. or until mushrooms are golden brown, stirring often.
3. Add cream of mushroom soup. Let simmer 5 min. or until thickened. Stir in reserved pan juices. Serve mushroom sauce with pork chops. Garnish with sautéed sliced mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, if desired.
