The way to ensure your hands don’t reek after you prep your famous garlic-chicken recipe: Place the garlic cloves inside a zip-top bag, then seal the bag and place on top of a cutting board. Next, smash the cloves with the flat side of a chef’s knife to flatten, then use the dull edge of the knife to chop up the garlic. When you’re ready to add the garlic to your dish, simply open the bag and pour it in. Bonus: Since the garlic never touches the board or knife, cleanup will be a breeze!
