Mom Brittany Michelle Hines was walking to the gym when cruel laughter and vicious taunts stopped her in her tracks. It was a group of grown men making fun of her body, calling her a "hog," among other things.
After being bullied by them, she retreated to her car in the parking lot and began to sob. She wanted to go home and give up her dream of bettering her health and herself. But then she remembered her young son--the reason why she stepped outside in the first place.

So she put in extra work at the gym that day--more than an hour of "huffing and puffing." And when she did get home after her session, she had a LOT to say to those who felt the need to insult her.
On social media, Hines wrote, "This 'hog' as you so graciously deemed me has been on a journey to better herself. My doctor was blown away by my blood work. My total cholesterol was 118 which is well below the 200 limit for normal. I don't have diabetes or high blood pressure either. How many of you can say the same?"
And then she brought up her true motivation for pushing forward despite the haters.
"I did not leave the house to impress you today," she wrote. "I went to impress myself and to make my son proud of his mom."
