If grocery shopping is something you dread, you're not alone. Finding the patience to deal with long lines and antsy children is a feat, and it may feel like feeding a family on a budget is becoming harder and harder to do.
But food shopping can't be avoided, so stay-at-home mom Ashley Jordan and her husband headed to Walmart. As they stood at the checkout line, the cashier watched Jordan dig through her purse to get her money. When their youngest daughter started fussing, the woman at the register did something that left the family in "complete shock."

"It was another dreaded shopping trip trying to buy groceries for a family of five. We got as much stuff as we could get on my husband's income since I'm a stay-at-home mom," Jordan posted on Facebook. "We literally dread going to Walmart and buying groceries period because my husband's whole check goes to food for our family."
"Half of the time the cashier's don't engage in conversation, but the cashier we had tonight was very friendly."
After she announced their total, Jordan took out her money and started counting. When the woman smiled and said, "you guys look like you need a blessing tonight," Jordan smiled back but didn't think anything of it.

"This sweet woman whom I never met in my life paid for half of my groceries! I was in complete shock because I never expected anything like that to ever happen...How could this woman who didn't even know me, know our situation, know us, why would she do this?"
She and her husband got back to the car, smiling to themselves because "there truly are good people out there."
What an amazing act of kindness!
