An ombré color wave of painted rocks in a range of blues and greens turns a plain framed mirror into a shore-chic looking glass.
*What you’ll need: *
6 dozen river rocks
Acrylic paint (in blue, green and white)
1 framed mirror (about 15" wide)
Wipe the rocks with a damp paper towel, then paint a handful of the stones blue and another handful green. Next, mix paints with white and coat another handful of rocks with these lighter hues. Then mix in more white and repeat so you have a range of shades. Let dry. Attach the rocks to the mirror’s frame with hot glue. Success secret: To protect a bathroom mirror’s paint finish from degrading elements like heat and humidity, wipe on a coat of butcher’s wax with a soft cloth; let dry and polish.
