There was no crazy crash diet--and no weight loss surgery, a rumor that got started in late 2016 after she hit some award show red carpets looking decidedly more toned and trim.

“I lost my weight the healthy and good old-fashioned way: Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer," Lambert said at the time, blasting her critics and tabloids that started the false allegations. “It’s not about a scale. It’s about how you feel and how your jeans fit. I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size.”
