Kristin Lester was used to getting strange looks when she was out with her little son Caden. Since the young boy has a sensory processing disorder, not everyone is understanding of his behavior, especially his excitement over technology.
But one day in the grocery store, Caden's love of all things techno led to a surprisingly heartwarming moment.

Lester wrote in a Facebook post that the cashier at the grocery store immediately recognized Caden's enthusiasm for the scanner and invited him to help scan the groceries. And when Caden struggled to find the barcode, the bagging boy came over to assist him.
Seeing her little boy play cashier with his new friends did more for the mom than she could have ever imagined.
"Today we felt 'normal,'" Lester wrote. "He wasn't in the way, or strange."
