Most kids enjoy getting asked to attend birthday parties from their classmates, but one little boy got the best invite he's ever received.
Seven-year-old Timothy Klein was diagnosed with non-verbal autism when he was two years old and tends to get "overstimulated easily," according to his mother, Tricia Klein. Large groups are a lot for him to handle, so parties are usually something he avoids.
“Timothy is a very happy and social little guy,” Klein told ABC News. “He struggles with social interaction, but longs to be a part of groups and activities and have friends like every other kid his age.”
Up until now his mother has always turned down every invite he gets. Until one in particular got her attention.

One day her son brought home a note from the mother of his friend, Carter. She suggested that maybe Timothy could come earlier in the day if it would be too much with the whole class. Carter's mom hoped that they would be able to work out whatever was needed to get Timothy to come to her son's party.
The surprised mom couldn't hold back her tears after she saw the letter. Deep down she knew she couldn't let Timothy miss out on this party when he had been treated with such kindness.
“Yes, I was shocked that someone would take not only the time to write the note, but to be considerate enough to include him with all of his difficulties. It was a wonderful moment,” said Klein.
Ainsley Peikos, the mother who wrote the heartfelt invitation, said her son Carter and Timothy had become close friends and she wanted to make sure he felt comfortable enough to come to the celebration.
“Carter had always talked about him, so I didn’t think twice when he wanted him at the party,” Peikos said. “The only question was, ‘How could we make it work so that Timothy could come and have a great time just like anyone else?’ He came early. He went right into the bounce castle with Carter and they had a great time,” said Peikos.
