This was no emergency, but it was still an important job for the police.
A little boy named Wyatt was playing around with his mom's cell phone when he mistakenly called 911. Since no one responded to the dispatcher's questions, two officers were sent to the boy's home, where they found him with the phone.
The cops then took the opportunity to talk to the child and his parents about why they were there and teach him about when it is appropriate to call 911. Imagine how pleased they must have been when they received a sweet apology note in response from him soon after the visit!
The note read,
I am sorry that I called you today, hung up on you, and I will not do it again at all!
Looks like he took their lesson to heart!
