Finally, a Protein Bar That Doesn’t Taste Like Cardboard

Tags:

It’s no secret that most protein bars taste like processed pieces of cardboard that have been glued back together again, wrapped in something you thought was yogurt. But what if we told you there’s one protein bar in particular that tastes pretty good — so good, in fact, you wouldn’t even know it was a protein bar?

It’s true: KIND snacks has finally released a protein bar worth eating — and no, it’s not tasty because it’s full of carbs and sugar. But don’t take our word for it — KIND is so sure of its new product that the company sent free taste-test packages to the public so consumers could taste for themselves the difference between KIND’s new bars and its leading competitors, Clif and Quest.

The promotion was such a hit that KIND ran out of their protein bars within hours — all 10,000 samples.

KIND’s new lineup includes Crunchy Peanut Butter, White Chocolate Cinnamon Almond, Toasted Caramel Nut, and our personal favorite, Double Dark Chocolate Nut.

The best part? Aside from the health benefits —fiber, protein, 100 percent whole grains — KIND products are available in stores like Target and Walmart, so you can just grab it and go whenever you’re grocery shopping. Don’t want to go out? Just hop online and order a package of KIND bars straight from the website.

KIND’s protein bars have officially been on sale for one day, and so far the reviews are quite positive — which is pretty noteworthy, especially when you consider the backlash that many other health brands receive on Amazon; we saw one bar described as tasting like “garbage and resentment” and another described by a commenter as simply “sawdust.” Yikes!

KIND consumers, however, seem to love the new protein bars, and have voiced their opinions on Instagram, writing “I recommend bars that you can see the ingredients. With KIND Snacks, what you see is what you get and I love them!” and “Crunchy Peanut Butter is Incredible.”

Go on, give it a try: Trade out your “sawdust” protein bars of the past for something a little bit tastier. What do you have to lose?
