It's always a treat to see kids in costumes, whether they're sporting tights and capes like superheroes or dressing up like celebrities. However, it's especially rewarding when kids get dressed up for a good cause!
In honor of Black History Month, elementary schoolers Ambrielle Baker-Rogers, Miah Bell-Olson, and Morgan Coleman, dressed up as the leading ladies of the recent film Hidden Figures which tells the true story of three black female mathematicians who helped send John Glenn to space.
The three girls got to participate in a school project created by their teacher, who wanted to make posters showing the beauty of African-American culture. Talk about inspiring!
Believe it or not, these girls aren't the only kids who've stepped out as popular movie characters. Others have sported outfits inspired by some of your favorite fictional characters, like the suave Danny Zuko from Grease and the adorable Marty McFly from Back to the Future!
