The video will make you gasp in shock, but the story behind it will make you think. Mom Keri Morrison went viral after a video of her 6-month old falling into a swimming pool--and learning to float--made the rounds on the Internet.
And it's not hard to see why. The footage is undoubtedly hard to watch.

After all, the baby girl named Josie is left to adjust herself in the pool after she flips over, and bring her face above the water. And though Morrison is right within reach of the infant, she doesn't budge to help.
But Morrison has a compelling reason for not jumping right in. She already lost a young son named Jake in a drowning incident back in 2013.
"It eats me up inside knowing that he fell under the water not knowing what to do and I wasn't there to protect him and keep him safe," Morrison said.
So that's why she made the decision to take her new baby girl to supervised infant swimming lessons, where she's been learning self-rescue techniques.
"To me, when I look at that video, I see nothing but amazing," Morrison said. "Here is a 6-month old sitting on the steps, falls in, does exactly what she is supposed to do. She flipped over, her face is above the water and she is breathing."
