Clever baby gender reveals are a huge trend now for parents-to-be. From brightly colored pink balloons to eye-popping blue confetti, expectant moms and dads are always trying to come up with a fun method to tell their loved ones if it's a little he or she who's on the way.
Well, it looks like California couple Monique Tello and Steven Stratter have raised the standard of gender reveals by incorporating something they both love into it—America's favorite pastime! Since they are both huge baseball fans, they planned the idea of filling a fragile baseball ornament with colored chalk, either pink or blue. Tello would pitch the ornament to Stratter on a baseball field, and he would hit the ball, making the colored powder explode to reveal whether they were having a boy or girl.

"Pregnancy is typically focused on the female, so I wanted Steven to feel included in our gender reveal," Tello said.
And as you can see from the photo below, he certainly played a big role in this "home run."
