Classic rickrack trimming goes from sweet to stunning when you combine lengths to produce a napkin ring in layers of color—it’s a simple cinch that will easily update everyday table settings with modern chevron style!
*What you’ll need for each napkin ring: *
One 3" x 6" piece of cardstock (to use as a base for the napkin band)
Seven 6" strips of rickrack (four in one color, three in a contrasting hue)
Overlap and hot-glue the strips of rickrack onto the cardstock (alternating colors), then tape the ends of the cardstock strip together to form a ring. Finish by slipping the ring around a rolled napkin. (For a bright range of eye-catching large-scale rickrack, starting at $4 for 2 1/2 yards, log on to CreateForLess.com)
