3-Year-Old Comes to Mom With Bloody Toe, But Now This Mom Is Laughing

You’ve got to hand it to kids–they sure are clever. They’re either getting into mischief–think, glitter messes or smearing their baby sibs with peanut butter–or plotting it (insert your favorite kid sitcom prank here).

The likely targets of their shenanigans are their mom and dad (both for a bonus). But our hats are truly off to this unknown little girl. She came to her mom and pointed down at her feet. The big toe was covered in blood! In the mom’s words, her daughter scared the crap out of her. (Except the mom used another, stronger synonym for crap and we apologize in advance for the swear.)

We aren’t sure how the mom discovered the truth. Maybe the 3-and-a-half-year-old gave it all away by laughing. Or maybe the mom did a double-take and looked a little more closely at her daughter’s toes. Whatever happened, she posted the photo on Reddit, where it quickly racked up a lot of comments (mainly, people remembering their own childhood pranks).
