Domino’s Cheesy Baby Registry Is for Every ‘Hangry’ Mom-to-Be

Tags:

Baby registries can be a godsend to new parents. With virtually endless options of expensive baby products out there, it can be tough for moms and dads to figure out what they actually need and how to pay for it all — especially once their little bundle of joy arrives. But sometimes, what these new parents really need is just another bundle of joy: pizza. Luckily, now there’s an easy for way well-meaning relatives and friends to send that too.

Yes, Domino’s just announced that it has launched its first-ever baby registry service where family and friends can buy nice hot pizza for the new parents. And we have to say, it sounds like a cheesy dream come true.

“There’s nothing more exciting — and exhausting — than welcoming a new member to the family,” said Meenakshi Nagarajan, Domino’s director of digital marketing, in a press release. “From baby showers to the big delivery, our baby registry makes it easy to enjoy pizza during the exciting events leading up to the baby’s arrival and thereafter.”

Now, DominosBabyRegistry.com allows parents-to-be to add hilarious-sounding pizza deals like “Sleeping Through the Night” and “Hormonal and Hangry” to their wish lists. And if plain old pizza isn’t enough, the new registry also offers like pizza-themed clothing and baby supplies.

We sure wish something like this existed back in the day! Who doesn’t want to indulge in some tasty pizza after hours of labor? We certainly wouldn’t have dreamed of cooking gourmet meals on our own around that crazy, hectic time, and quite frankly, hospital food is usually less than stellar. In some cases, we’d rather go hungry!

That said, this is a great way to treat the new moms and dads in your life to a hot, delicious meal at a time when they’re surely exhausted. It also lets the parents know you’re thinking of their little one, without adding just another cute outfit or rattle to their growing pile of stuff. After all, it’s something you know they’re definitely going to use — who’s going to return the gift of pizza?
