Traditional razors are both friend and foe. We love them for cheap, quick, usually painless hair removal in the comfort of our own bathroom, but we hate them when they nick us and when the blades are so dull we may as well be shaving with butter knives. But waxing is so time-consuming, not to mention uncomfortable, which is why we're so excited about this nifty little gadget.

Could this be the future of shaving?
Meet Skarp, the laser razor. Battery operated, it can last a whopping 50,000 hours (wish we could say that about the kind we buy in 6-packs at the drugstore!). Although laser hair removal is more permanent than what Skarp can do for you, there are no side effects because the laser never penetrates your skin.
And it's a lot cheaper than Intense Pulsed Light therapy, the pricey hair laser hair removal technique (which was invented by one of the geniuses who developed Skarp!). When it becomes available in March 2016, Skarp will cost about $159. It sounds like a lot of money, but if you total up how much you're forking over for your current razors over the course of six years (which is how long Skarp will keep removing hair), they may just be equal.
Still skeptical? Check out this video from Skarp's Facebook page.
