Hoda Kotb’s Daughter Is a Pro at Walking in Cute Easter Video

Tags:

She’s hitting the ground running! Hoda Kotb’s daughter, Haley Joy, is officially walking, and her proud mom took to Instagram to show off the 13-month-old in the cutest Easter video. While this wasn’t little Haley’s first Easter — she was just two months old during last year’s festivities — it was the first time she was old enough to participate in an Easter egg hunt. Check out the video above to see Haley adorably walking while hunting for eggs!

“Happy Easter!!!” the 53-year-old captioned the sweet video, in which little Haley appears to be a natural at collecting the colorful plastic eggs. These may not be the very first steps the toddler has taken — she looks too much like a walking pro for that to be the case — but it’s the first footage Kotb has shared on social media.

Walking isn’t the only milestone Haley’s tackling these days. The little girl is also starting to talk up a storm. Kotb had previously revealed back in March that her daughter’s first word — “Bob” — was a unique one. “We don’t know who Bob is. Every time she said it we kept laughing going, ‘Who is Bob?’ I’m sure it was a combination of bottle and some other thing,” the TODAY Show co-anchor — who shares Haley with longtime boyfriend Joel Schiffman — explained.

The one-year-old is learning quickly, though, and has already picked up some more common words. “She can say ‘mama’ and ‘dada,’ which is great. My mom taught her how to say ‘mama’ when I was in Korea,” Kotb continued. “It was so cool. She sent me the video, but then I started to think maybe Haley thought ‘mama’ was the phone.” How adorable is that?
