So that's why Brandon Wiggins, a sheriff's deputy in Franklin, GA, was so nervous when he saw two cars pull up beside the truck he'd just flagged down for running a stop sign. He immediately started thinking of the most likely scenarios (none good). And as a man walked toward him, his hand reached for his gun and he started praying for the best. Then the man spoke up.
He explained that the truck driver was his son, and that his grandfather had just had a stroke,. In fact, the family was rushing to the hospital to see him. But the man didn't stop there. "Before he left, he grabbed my hand and asked to pray for me," Deputy Wiggins wrote in a caption to the video he posted on Facebook. "As he prayed for me and my brothers in blue, my eyes filled with tears and I was at a loss for words. This man with all he had going on, stopped to pray for me."
