Hidden inside this clever no-bake vampire bat is a silky peanut butter–infused chocolate mousse made with whipped topping. It's so simple to make, it's scary!
1 pkg. **(1 lb.) semisweet chocolate morsels**
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 container (16 oz.)** frozen whipped topping, **thawed
1 can (16 oz.)** chocolate frosting**
1/3 cup chocolate sprinkles
*4 chocolate-chew candies, *like Tootsie Rolls
3 red fruit chews, like Starburst
*2 yellow fruit chews, *like Starburst
2 purple gumdrops
2 red mini chocolate candies, like M&M’s
1 orange gumdrop
2 oz. melted white chocolate
6 chocolate graham cracker halves
Step 1: Make filling
In glass bowl, heat semisweet chocolate 2 min. or until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in peanut butter. Let sit 10 min. or until cooled to room temperature. Stir in whipped topping. Transfer chocolate mixture to 1-qt. bowl that’s been coated with cooking spray and lined with plastic wrap. Chill 2 hrs.
Step 2: Add sprinkles
Invert ball onto serving plater; remove plastic wrap. Coat truffle ball with chocolate frosting. Sprinkle ball with chocolate sprinkles to cover.
Step 3: Decorate bat
Microwave 2 chocolate-chew candies 10 sec. or until pliable; shape into one ear. Repeat with remaining 2 chocolate chews to make other ear. Microwave 2 red fruit chews 10 sec. or until pliable. Roll out and cut to fit inside each ear; press onto chocolate ears to secure. Press ears into frosting. Microwave remaining red fruit chew; roll into mouth shape and attach. Microwave 2 yellow fruit chews; roll out and cut two eyes. Attach eyes to face, adding purple gumdrops and red mini chocolate candies for pupils. Add orange gumdrop for nose. Using scissors, snip marshmallow into triangles for teeth. Place melted white chocolate in piping bag fitted with small round tip. Pipe web design onto graham cracker halves to form wings. Chill 5 min. Gently insert wings into frosting.
