Amber Rose of Hertfordshire, England was topping the scales at 350 pounds when she finally hit her emotional breaking point.
A size 28, she couldn't fit into a standard airplane seat and was mortified to have to purchase two tickets every time she took a trip.
"It was costing me a fortune," the personal assistant told Daily Mirror. "Instead of looking forward to holidays, I would always dread them as getting on a plane was always humiliating. I felt like everyone would stare at me, and even when I got to these beautiful destinations I'd have to cover up my body because I was too ashamed."
Upset when she saw photos of herself but still in denial, Rose finally realized she wanted to change after a complete stranger mistakenly asked if she was pregnant.

"Ever since then, I haven't looked back. I switched to low calorie healthy meals and began to do light exercise," she says now of her dramatic transformation.
After ditching fattening foods and starting a workout plan at a local gym, she joined Weight Watchers and gradually--it took three years--slimmed to half her size, losing a whopping 185 pounds.
And because an excess of skin continued to hang off her body even as she got healthier, she also began saving money every month until she finally had enough to fork over nearly $12,000 to get a tummy tuck, which she says helped her confidence immensely.
