When Jamie Indiveri and Keith Batchelder wanted to find out the sex of their baby-to-be, they wanted the gender reveal to honor Batchelder's profession: The Navarre, FL, resident is a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces--aka the Green Berets. And since the Special Forces are responsible for counter-terrorism and dangerous assignments, it was obvious that whatever plan this couple came up with would involve something spectacularly awesome.

So Indiveri and Batchelder decided to fill a box with colored chalk powder and tannerite, an explosive used in target practice. A friend of the couple found out the baby's sex from the hospital, made the box, and filled it with the appropriately colored chalk powder.
The couple picked an isolated spot where Batchelder could shoot off his rifle. Then the couple brought along a photographer to capture the moment. The military specialist aimed his rifle and shot--hitting the mark on the FIRST shot!
The cloud that came out thrilled the Floridians!
Looks like Batchelder and Indiveri have started their parenthood journey off with a bang!
