To keep your farmer’s market haul fresh for a week or more, mix 1 part vinegar and 10 parts water in a bowl and gently swish the berries in the solution. Then drain, pat dry and store in the fridge. The diluted vinegar will kill the bacteria and mold spores that cause fruit to spoil, and it won’t leave a vinegary taste.
