Save your Easter artistry for years to come with these made-in-minutes craft-store wooden eggs. They are adorable…and unbreakable!
*What you’ll need: *
Unfinished wooden eggs (from the craft store)
White acrylic paint
Assorted permanent markers
Assorted scraps of brightly-colored felt (for wings, ears, feet)
Optional jelly beans (for noses)
To do: Paint eggs with a coat of the white acrylic. Let dry for an hour or so, then use the markers to draw on facial features, stripes and dots. Next, snip wing, ears and/or feet shapes out of the felt and attach them to the eggs with hot glue. Optional: Cut a jelly bean in half lengthwise and glue the flat end onto the face of your egg for an easy 3-D nose.
