No-sew book covers made in minutes from recycled dish towels are a kitchen-chic way to protect your favorite cookbooks from everyday wear and tear (and spills too!).
*What you’ll need for each book cover: *
1 dish towel (recycled or new, from the dollar store)
Optional: Fabric paint markers (like Crayola 10-Pack, $5.88, amazon.com)
To do: Simply cut the towels slightly larger (2" taller and 4" wider) than the open book cover. Fold and iron in (1") hems all around. Then wrap the trimmed towel around the book and secure inside front and back covers with hot glue. Optional: Use fabric paint pen on the covers to identify each book.
