Berry motifs snipped from paper napkins are glued onto whitewashed stones to make these charming table weights—a perfectly pretty way to keep lightweight linens from flying away during breezy backyard barbecues.
What you’ll need:
Four to six 3" flat stones
1 tube white acrylic craft paint
1 package printed-paper cocktail napkins
1 bottle of decoupage paste
Brush one side of each stone with white paint. Let dry for 20 minutes, then flip them over and coat the other side. While the second coat is drying, snip berry (or floral) motifs from printed-paper napkins. Next, brush a coat of decoupage paste onto the back of the napkin motifs and press one onto each stone. Let dry for 20 minutes. Finally, brush another coat of paste on top of the motif to seal it. Let dry overnight.
