Now this is what we call protecting and serving!
Truck driver Rodney Gibson had just found out that his daughter was losing her fight with breast cancer. Naturally, he was a bit distracted on the road, as he was trying to process the horrible news. But when he got pulled over for speeding, he got the most amazing surprise from the officer, Indiana State Police Sgt. Todd Durnil. After Durnil heard Gibson's heart-wrenching story, he offered to pray with him, rather than giving him a ticket.
Clearly, this cop knew exactly what he really needed that day! And it's worth applauding him for the inspiring way he followed through.
