Caramel-kissed sautéed pears meet cinnamon-nut Kamut crumbles in this warm treat that’s ready in just 20 minutes!
5 Tbs. butter, _divided _
1 cup rolled Kamut (khorasan wheat)
1/3 cup chopped *pecans *
1/4 cup *Kamut flour *
1/4 cup *brown sugar *
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
6 ripe Bartlett *pears *(about 3 lbs.), peeled and sliced
1⁄4 cup salted caramel sauce, like Smucker’s
1 *lemon, *zested and juiced
1. Heat oven to 350°F. In microwave-safe bowl, melt 4 Tbs. butter; stir in next 4 ingredients and 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon until clumps form. Transfer to greased baking sheet. Bake 20 min., stirring once.
2. Meanwhile, in skillet over medium-high heat, cook pears in 1 Tbs. butter 10 min. or until tender, stirring often. Add caramel, 2 Tbs. lemon juice and 1 tsp. lemon zest. Cook 2 min., stirring.
3. Divide pear mixture evenly among six 6 oz. ramekins; top with crumb mixture. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
