What could be better than bacon, egg and cheese for breakfast? These make-ahead egg baskets. Prep them the night before, then bake when you wake and get ready for raves!
Here’s the easy recipe:
6 slices applewood-smoked bacon
2 Tbs. melted salted butter
6 slices white bread
6 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
Heat oven to 375°F. In skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon 4 min. or until crisp; set aside. Coat 6-well muffin pan with butter. Using rolling pin, flatten bread slices. Top each bread slice with cheese; gently press into prepared pan. Add 1 slice of bacon to each cup. Cover; chill until ready to bake. To bake: Carefully pour 1 egg into each cup. Bake 18 min. or just until egg whites are set. Let sit 2 min.; remove from pan.
