Bumble Bee Foods recalled 31,579 cases of canned Chunk Light tuna today because they could be contaminated with bacteria. Although there haven't been any reported cases of illnesses so far, the food company is worried that eating contaminated tuna could cause a life-threatening illness.
According to the FDA, the cans are marked with a code that starts with a "T" (example: TOA2BSCAFB) and have "best by" dates all in February 2019. The recall affects the following types of tuna:
