Forget the chicken fingers tonight--it’s worth the extra planning to potentially protect your health and that of your family. After recalling nearly 2 million pounds of chicken in July, Aspen Foods, a division of Koch Poultry Company, is expanding the recall to include another 500,000 pounds due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The chicken included in this recall includes breaded, stuffed, frozen, and raw products produced between August 25, 2015 and September 17, 2015 that have “best if used by” dates between August 23, 2015 and December 15, 2016 according to a press release from the USDA.
