For five seasons, a revolving door of pretty faces kicked butt on TV screens everywhere as Charlie's Angels. Best remembered for the original trio of Farah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, and Kate Jackson, the hit show has become a cult classic despite being cancelled after only five seasons.
Despite having graduated from police academy, Sabrina Duncan (Jackson), Jill Munroe (Fawcett), and Kelly Garrett (Smith), are forced to do menial police tasks. Frustrated and unhappy, the three join the Charles Townsend Agency and become private investigators. While you never actually see Charles Townsend's face, actor John Forsyth lends his voice to the part. John Bosley, Townsend's associate, sends the Angels on their assignments after Townsend's voice relays the case over speakerphone.

Farrah Fawcett was the unquestioned star of Charlie's Angels for the show's first season. Due to a contract dispute, Fawcett appeared mainly as a recurring guest after Cheryl Ladd joined the cast in the second season. When Charlie's Angels ended in 1980, Fawcett went on to star in a series of TV movies like The Burning Bed and Small Sacrifices, for which she was nominated for numerous awards. Sadly, she died in 2009 at only 62 after a battle with cancer.
