The website Cancun.com will pay its new Cancun Experience Officer a whopping $10,000 a month to experience the tropical paradise that is Cancun and all that the gorgeous Mexican city has to offer. The gig, which lasts from March to August 2018, adds up to $60,000 total. On top of that, all living expenses are paid while you’re employed there.
It’s incredibly easy to apply for this dreamy gig, too. All you need is a valid passport, the ability to travel to Mexico, fluency in English, and to be at least 18 years old by January 1, 2018. But you better hurry if you want this chance of a lifetime, because today is the last day you can apply, and the countdown clock is a’ticking.
So what does this job entail? Well, the main requirement is for the employee to “immerse themselves in everything Cancun,” which sounds easy enough on its own. But as you might imagine, it’s not just all about laying out on the beach and drinking a piña colada.
The employee will need to create images, videos, and social media posts for Cancun.com and its social media pages. Though these responsibilities might sound a little overwhelming for someone who’s never done those tasks in a professional setting before, it’s worth keeping in mind that it’s not required for you to have experience in social media posting, video creation, or even blogging in order to get the job.
Of course, it certainly couldn’t hurt if you do have that experience.
