3 Ways to Highlight Your Hair at Home That’ll Boost Your Natural Glow for Summer

To do: Paint streaks of various sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to one inch onto hair around the face using the brush from a balayage kit, like Nutrisse Ultra Color Blondes Balayage Lightening Creme ($7.99, Target). Let sit 30 minutes; rinse.

To do: Apply bleach from an ombré kit, like L'Oréal Paris Colorista Ombré Bleach ($8.69, Target), in one-inch sections, working from ends up (to prevent a harsh line of demarcation); stop three inches from roots. Check every 10 minutes until desired hue is reached; rinse.
