When Donna Docherty, of Glasgow, got married in 2011, she tried hard to lose weight in time for her wedding. And even though Docherty shed a few pounds, she only dropped a dress size: from a size 22 to 20. She still looked beautiful, but she wasn't happy inside.

Finally, in December 2013, she decided to make a MAJOR change. The trigger: seeing photos of herself at 213 pounds.

The Scottish mom tossed out all the junk food in her house--including the sugary treats she loved. She avoided takeout meals and started cooking homemade ones, like chili. She also joined a gym.
In two years, the petite mom has cut her weight in HALF! She now weighs 110 pounds, and says she's never felt better. “To anyone wanting to make a change I would always tell them you need to be really self-motivated. No one is going to do it for you," she's told the British newspapers.
“But the rewards are incredible. I love my new look. The days of size 22 dresses are long gone.”
