Amy Grant is known for making beautiful contemporary Christian music, and her latest song truly fits the bill. Just in time for the holidays, the new tune, which is called “To Be Together,” from the new album Tennessee Christmas, covers all the trials and tribulations families go through (think crowded airports, cancelled flights, and long drives) to be in each other's presence during the holidays. After all, Grant sings, what's more important than that?
Our favorite part of "To Be Together" is the glimpse into Grant's private life that the song provides: In addition to a gorgeous melody and lyrics, the video includes Grant's old holiday family photos. We hear that Grant, who appeared on the cover of FIRST for Women in late 2016, got the idea for the concept after her daughter Sarah was in a serious car accident.
