Eva Mendes is back! Back on the red carpet, that is.
Just days after the actress opened up about taking a break from the spotlight for several months, she finally made her return to the flashing lights for the opening of a New York and Company store in Miami. And as you can see by her fabulous outfit choice, her long-anticipated return was definitely worth the wait.
Mendes, who is a designer for New York and Company and who has also been the face of many of the brand's collections, unquestionably stole the show with her sweet one-shouldered aqua number. And not a hair was out of place in her perfectly tousled curls.

The 43-year-old, who's known for colorful fashion-forward looks, has definitely been missed since her last red carpet outing dating back to last September. That last time she posed for cameras was to attend her own Eva Mendes X New York and Company fashion show in New York.
But she had a more than good enough reason for skipping out on red carpet events in between the two, such as the Oscars, among other awards shows.

"What people don’t know about me is that I love being home," she recently revealed to Shape magazine. "Instead of hitting the red carpet, I'd rather be with our girls."
Considering she's the mom of a 2-year-old and an 11-month-old, we're sure the busy mama has her hands full at all times. And it sounds like she's more than happy to have those full hands!
