Getting over an ex is tough, but for people with kids, it's especially difficult; the other person will always be "in the picture," so to speak, since you'll still be trying to raise a human being together long after the romantic relationship has ended. So what happens if the ex moves on, and that new person becomes a part of your kid's life?
It can be a very positive experience, says a woman Audrey Nicole whose elegant Facebook message about her ex's new girlfriend is going viral, and for the best reason.
Audrey and her ex-husband are still working together to raise a young daughter, who divides her time between parents. So that means that when the daughter is visiting her father, dad's girlfriend is there too. And that, Audrey wrote in her heartwarming post, is A-okay with her.

"This is my daughter's father's girlfriend. The sweetest thing ever! I'm super thankful for her because when she visits her dad she feeds her, takes care of her, buys her gifts, and basically takes care of her like her own," she wrote.
"Why do all these moms act so spiteful and jealous towards the other women? ...A kid can have two moms because in my eyes the more people that love her I'm happy! I would never make her feel like an outsider; I'm extremely thankful for this girl," she wrote about her ex's girlfriend, seeming genuinely content with how things turned out.
If that's not enough feel-good sentiment for you, she has more to offer. "Ladies, grow up and focus on being a good mom. Love more, hate less!"
That's a message worth spreading. Cheers, Audrey! You're doing something right.
