Olivia Parker, 17, was excited about the red dress she got to wear to prom night at Desert Mountain High School's prom on last month. But when she picked the dress up from a local dry cleaner in Scottsdale, AZ, on the morning of the dance, she got a terrible shock: The dress now had a big, dark crease right on the front.
"It looked like they had burned it," Parker told TODAY. "I definitely wasn't able to wear it, and had just given away my backup dress the night before to my best friend."

With only hours to figure out a plan, her mom, Brande Walker, started going through her closet and pulling out old dresses.
"My prom dress was the first one Olivia tried on, and it couldn't have fit better," Walker said of the black, strapless dress she wore in 1991 after getting it at a department store's going-out-of-business sale. "She didn't even try on any others."
The best part? When Olivia arrived at the dance, her unexpected dress was a huge hit among her friends. Some even admitted to being jealous about how stylish and sentimental it was.
"I loved twirling in the dress and thinking about my mom twirling in it at her prom," Olivia said. "It made the night even more special."
That's a mother-daughter fashion memory these two (shown above at Olivia's graduation) will share forever!
