Mom of two Laura Bull was tired of dates canceling on her at the last minute. So the third time it happened, she decided to do something very public in response.
Her move was to take herself on a date--a "self date"--and document it on Facebook.

The 31-year-old mother treated herself to a delicious lunch at a market, live music, a walk through a national park, a swim at the beach, and dinner for one.
She didn't let a rude waiter discourage her from ending her self-date on a high note, as she took a table outside by a sunset.
"I’ve never taken myself out for dinner before but it was so beautiful watching everyone down below and I’m so glad I stayed," she said.
But she didn't do it just for herself. She also wanted to inspire other moms to get out there and take some time to themselves for a while.

"So moral of my self date and sharing my journey with you all is… just because you get stood up or plans cancelled don’t be disappointed, take yourself on your own adventure," she wrote. "Enjoy some you time because you are wonderful!"
